TEAMBUILDING: THE MOST TASTEFUL SECRETS OF GHENT AND BRUGES
The Lonely Planet guidebook calls Ghent ‘Europe’s best kept secret’ and praises Bruges’ dreamy canals and squares. These two historic cities form an impressive décor for an original and playful three-day teambuilding excursion.
A guide awaits you and your employees in the lobby of the luxurious Marriott hotel on the Leie River for a Burgundian lunch in the Patershol, the oldest neighbourhood in Ghent. After the cosy meal groups will be formed for a walking quest. While everyone playfully tries to win surprising prizes, you and your team will explore the most beautiful spots of the historic city centre. The winners will be announced at 4 p.m. then you will be able to relax in your luxurious room. Later you will dine in the beautifully restored 17th-century Old Fish Market, a bold combination of old and new.
The next day you will explore picturesque Bruges with a Segway, an electric two-wheeler. The city’s medieval splendour is revealed from an unexpected side during a private boat trip along the canals. At night you’ll sleep in Ghent again, where you will treat your guests to a very original culinary voyage of discovery. You will consume each course of the meal in a different historic establishment!
On day three you can organise a meeting for your team in the hotel conference room, then everyone can relax with a salutary massage in the warm, colourful bathhouse Aqua Azul. After sampling some wine in Les Trésors we arrive at the finishing touch: dinner in Brasserie Belga Queen, where the chef will spoil you with high-quality Belgian products.
