PHENOMENAL NORWEGIAN FJORDS
Bergen, the city between seven mountains with its typical wooden houses at the port, is the perfect operating base for exploring breathtaking Norwegian fjords. During this four-day incentive, you'll become acquainted with the authenticity of second largest city in Norway.
After your arrival in the late afternoon, a cocktail awaits you and your party in the hotel. Before entering the restaurant for dinner, you'll take a guided walking tour through Bryggen, the medieval administrative and commercial centre of Bergen and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bryggen features typical wooden houses and the trading port. You'll take the Fløibanen funicular railway to the top of mount Fløyen, where you'll be greeted by lovely views.
The next morning you'll board the train to Flaam, a picturesque village between green mountainsides. Thanks to the large windows, you'll enjoy views of the glaciers and snowy landscapes along the way. Your guests will have enough time for a photo stop at the spectacular 225 metre high Kjosfossen waterfall. After lunch in Flaam your party will take the boat to Gudvangen and sail past different steep fjords. A guide will tell you all about the breathtaking scenery. You'll end the day with a dinner before returning to the hotel.
The third day starts with a boat trip past the crags and small islands along Bergen's coastline. You'll board a fishing boat, catch some cod, and taste a few snacks from the sea prepared for you by a Norwegian chef. Back on land you'll visit Bergen's covered fish market, where you and your clients can lunch. After a free afternoon, a yacht will bring you, with a glass of champagne in your hand, to the Cornelius Seafood restaurant for dinner.
On day four you'll visit the home of the famous Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg in Troldhaugen. You'll be treated to a private concert, during which you can enjoy the music of Peer Gynt and wonderful views of the sea.
