Java & Bali

Bali, with its stunning beaches and hospitable local residents, colourful temples and heavenly landscapes, has become a trendy, exotic destination in recent years. Together with the fascinating Java, the ‘gift of the gods’ offers an irresistible eight-day incentive trip full of natural and cultural wonders.

You fly first to Yogyakarta on Java via either Jakarta or Kuala Lumpur. A warm welcome awaits you in your hotel along with a light lunch. In the afternoon, you take a ‘becak’ or rickshaw to visit the town, and you and your guests ride to the imposing Prambanan temple. The biggest Hindu temple complex in Indonesia is a majestic UNESCO World Heritage Site and rises 47 metres up into the sky.

The following day, you board an old colonial Dutch train that will take you across the heart of the wilderness. After lunch in a colonial plantation house, you treat your guests to yet another high point of the trip: the famous 7th century temple of Borobodur. In the evening, you are regaled with a delicious dinner in the opulent Manohara Hotel from which you have majestic views of this mystical World Heritage Site.

The following day you fly to Bali, where you check into the Maya Ubud, a breathtaking resort set on the hillside next to a river that is flanked by deep-green jungle.

On day five, you head off in a jeep to the Bali countryside, and together with your travelling companions, you are plunged into the authentic local life. You meet the children at a village school and can even have a go at working a rice paddy with water buffalo and plough.

And there’s even more local flavour to come over the next days, during which you experience the authentic side of Bali with every fibre of your body. You take to your bike and go for a gentle ride through the rolling landscape at Lake Kintamani. Or you may prefer to go to the island of Nusa Lembongan by catamaran. You can spend time here snorkelling and discovering the mangrove forest in a canoe. The farewell dinner is yet another occasion that will leave an indelible impression: during the royal Rajalaya “rice table”, each dish is served in a colourful Balinese procession accompanied by traditional musicians.

Fantastic incentive to Iceland, that besides the discovery of all the beautiful spots this island offers, also leaves a remaining impression with your collaborators and pushes their motivation to the next level. Great organisation.

Curd Lejaegere - Daiichi Sankyo

I would like to thank you once again for the exceptional work you’ve delivered for this incentive project. It was a project which was not easy and had a short deadline. Thanks to your professionalism, our customers have been able to enjoy a trip that lives up to what we’ve hoped for and this has strengthened our commercial ties with them. I was really impressed by the attention to detail and the perfect organization of this important event for us. For me, this edition is a true "no fault" as the customers told us.
